  • 12 pages of sketchbook drawings that explore using the “mask” to make 3D constructions. We know what the traditional Mask is so stay away from that. Could the mask be broken down into parts that are then reassembled in a new way. Materials: Thin wood strips of ash, canvas, thread, wire, fiberfill?. Could sewing be used to highlight the physical or psychologically history of the “Mask”? Consider how these will be displayed and consider that this object will be a 3D construction not just a Mask with a front and back.
