3D Printed Sculpture

Find an interesting form or object (anything!). Think not only about how this form is visually dynamic but also the connotations it has in our culture. Now answer this question: Why would this make an interesting sculpture to the viewer?

Do this for 5 different objects.   Write about one half page of text for each object.

Object #1:

Why would this make an interesting sculpture to the viewer?

Object #2:

Why would this make an interesting sculpture to the viewer?

Object #3:

Why would this make an interesting sculpture to the viewer?

Object #4:

Why would this make an interesting sculpture to the viewer?

Object #5:

Why would this make an interesting sculpture to the viewer?

Take the object that would make the most “interesting sculpture” of your five and using 123DCatch make a 3D model, then export that to Meshmixer to modify the form (for example, can you make it more dynamic?). Export that file to 123DMake to change it to a planar form to be laser cut from cardboard. Minimum size 4’, or 3 sheets of 4’ x 8’ cardboard.
